hi guys.
trying to emutate 2800. d/load cemu.rar here. flash tsop per instructions, flash atmel per inst. launch prog. per inst. but error mess. 020 card not valid for use w/this receiver. start emu. data scrolls in/out commands all unknown but lots of data. pull card, used to have good card# with 101v7, now card is 000000001-01 so guess it got zapped while at work. software is 834(current).replaced atmel and 232 chip before this new problem, reflash tsop, etc. was getting ch.103 w/video prior to n2 update attempt.
question is, ignore new card issue, what is causing card not valid issue? milked the site 3 days for fixes, tried all, but no success.i realize i havent given all info, but maybe this is enough for for some generous soul. please help. thanks in advance

wrong modded tsop flash for receiver you are programming. Follow instructions. Make sure everything is set to cloned ird and box keys to match modded bin.

i edited b/keys and ird# per instruct. all to the letter, and rechecked, crc makes ird# look right. open jkeys to verify, all is good. build config is good per posts ive read.

gott1,
Somehow, it appears that you're getting a response from running the d2c unlocker patch.
Time to start over, beginning with your atmel EMU flash. If you have a maxmel interface you'll need the 2-chip flash for it.
Then, take the dish.bin & rom10.bin files from the CEMU zipfile just as they are.
Test them for video on the barker channels (100,103,etc.) and you'll know everything is allright with your IRD & EMU setup.
After that, it's only a matter of patching the correct keys to get all the channels.
Good luck with it and let us know how you're doing.
Regards,
BGW

remake tsop flash from scratch, edit keys and ird.green crc apply patch, etc. reflash tsop, all from unzip file-scratch.flash atmel 101v7.data scrolls, all unknown i'o's. receiver says card not valid this receiver. check flash in jeepers, all good.
are all commards supposed to be "unknown"?
do i need to edit the units eprom possibly?
its not in the instructions.

got a new flash from tsop bank, edited bk and ird and flashed the 2700/2800. that fixed the invalid card issue. got unit working all channels on dishnet. horray. but after 30 minutes it desubs. restart, same thing. reflash my original edited bin, only get bs channels like shopping network, etc. but no more invalid card. when unit was working correctly, it appeared that all commands were unknown i/o, if that helps anyone. dont give up, i havent. flashed 2chip emu also, no change. not asking questions now, just trying to help. the right answer might be a keystroke away!

You were probably fine here...possibly unkown command by cemu...just restart the entire system.
