Here is a stupid question, but i have to know ! ok my puter crashed a month or so ago and i had to replace the hard drive ,after loading win xp and all theprograms i have i can not open text documents all i get is funky script. what program do i have to download? i have downloaded acrobat 5.0 and still no words,so any help would really be appreciated !!

you mean open your basic text files? what you probably want is microsoft word, which costs money, to most. or you can try open office, at www.openoffice.org (http://www.openoffice.org) heard some good stuff about that free text editor.
