Hey Guys - I stumbles across something that may, or may not, be of some interest. Everyone is saying that the AVR-X is by the magician because of the properties of the program saying it is magic.exe. A very good deduction.

I accidently right clicked on the AVR-X Software in the task bar, and found that it says it is made by the Waffer team.

I attached a screen shot of what I mean. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

Maybe Magician is Waffer and the "clone war " over the magic card was a scam....just think of the possibilities......blows the mind....

Interesting.

The first version of AVR-X software displays "About Magic"

After the tiers are added, it says "By Wafer Team"

Maybe Magician has borrowed some code from Wafer.

Check out his email and do a search same along with Magic Man.

maybe that is why the tiers dont really work like they should. cloner code and original code cant play well with each other.

That makes too much sense since it did drum up some extra money out there in regard to magic card 2.

Possibility that AVR-X Software is by Waffer, not magician. but the arrogant pompus personality is the same, customer last...... me first! .....$$$$$

Well, maybe this is wafer's way of telling us that he's the real programmer.

BTW, how much did you have to pay for the software?

If I could code, I'd expect something for my efforts. It's easy for those with 0's and 1's for brains. My analog brain just won't cut it. :D :D :D

I paid about 250$ for my software so far. or was it the cards? I figure that I paid for the software and not the cards seeing as I use the software more than I do the cards.

As I said way, way, back it came out to less than 1 day at McDonalds with my grandchildren for 6 months free TV for my 11 cards.
.
I watched 1 PPV that cost twice as much as magicians subscription, we ALL DID.
.
If it is him,

we should thank him for coming back and hacking N2, not flame him, even if he did, does charge after 2 years of free TV.

Speaking of Magic cards, wasn't there a thread several months back about writing atmega code for the MC? I searched for it and came up empty.

I agree..... if it is the magican, good for him. The free TV is well worth the little bit of trouble to set up some of the cards. AND, if it does come about that he starts charging for the software again, 25 bucks for 6 mo, I'll be the first to pay. No one should be asked to work for free. I don't and neither do the rest of you.

If you want to produce a card that works, write the software, sell some, maybe you will support it for free forever. I sure the hell wouldn't

:p

Hey I agree the $25 he charged was peanuts compared to trhe cost of all the PPv's i watched, I already have a subcription for Dish so it didn't bother me. Also after he started charging $25, i had no problem programming my card. However, Waffers program killed my card. So i had to by an Atmega which worked brilliantly with TCFD II. Who cares if it is the Magician, a lot of people may but I don't.
