Happy New Year everyone. I don't like to post but prefer to read and can usually find the answers to my questions. But, I've been having this problem for some time and don't know what to do. My problem is I have 2 recievers. One is a Coolsat 4000 plus and the other is a Pansat 2500a. I purchased an Eliptical Quad Dish from FTA World which has 3 dual LNBs. I used two diseqc switches one for each reciever to try and recieve 91, 110 and 119. Everything worked fine until a bad storm came through with a lot of lightning. I lost signal and thought my recievers or LNB,s had been damaged. After the storm I found that by bypassing the switch I could get a signal but only horz tp's. So I ordered new LNBs and switches. My vert and hroz problem seems to be ok now but my switches don't seem to switch on either reciever. I've read of possible problems with grounds and switches. I do have a coaxal ground between the dish and the recievers and wonder if this could possibly be the problem. I've also thought about changing the switches out with a dp34 as I have read that they have solved many problems. But I do not have a Dish Pro and have read some where that they will not work with my setup. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
