Bin won't work with Pansat 3500S

Three other guys I know are using the same bin with sucess as I am trying to use, and they have the Pansat 3500s too. All I get is "wait for picture" and it never appears. Channel 100 works fine so I think I have a good reciever, any ideas??

Yes, probably your unit got different chip combo, so use another bin!!!

Easy! Your dealing with a noob here:eek: How many different "chip combos" are there? I didn't know there were diferent chip combos with the exact same model & would have never thought of that. Thanks for reply

how about going to the source and getting the correct bin? future-fta.com is the source, so go there and get the current bin. its working fine here.

you using a channel list? you have your switch setup? have you had any other bins working on this setup?

Using a channel list, using a DP 500 no switch used, no working bins yet new Pansat

Under antenna setup any satelite I select I use DP under LNB type, does it matter what DIESCq switch? I turn it to off

when you loaded bin, make sure you set default keys..Press 8282 on your remote and set default keys. Let it update and you shouls have picture..

I think the problem might be in your channel list itself.

These bins require a third satellite entered as sat # 1 as a " test " or
" dummy "

if your channell list only has 2 satellites 110 and 119 then it will not work.
using Channel Master add a dummy # 1 satellitte and then enter the new channel list and you should be up and running. again make sure the default keys are set as previous posters have stated.
