My fortec ultra doesn't work

Hi there

My fortes say "Scamble Channelr" I don't know why, have 284 bin, neww channel list, power scan all satellites, check the diseQc everything is OK, I put the las keys N2 and nothing I can't watch TV.

But my pansat 2500 is working well.

Anybody has any Idea or suggestion.

Try another bin and SCAN ALL, remember after that, double check your switch settings!!

I have made that about 3 or 4 times, and I have download bins at least 4 times, I scan all too and nothing, I still have the problem

do you have latest keys on your reciever this happens when you dont have lastest ones

Yes I have the lastes keys I check on internet and verified with my Pansat 2500 and still I can't watch TV in my Fortec lifetime

I am using al7bar_fta_ultra_121505_282t_api on my 2005 ultra.This bin is for the newer ultras that cannot be moded into pansat units.you do not say which unit you have,pre 2005 or after,so if you have a 2005 model this nay be your problem.you must have a bin with the latest keys in it as you cannot manually enter the keys into a new(2005) ultra.

I think you have to start from scrach!!! So, do a factory reset, upload the factory bin (2.72) and your working bin (In this case -got a 2005 too- I Am running with aX-85BL_api:256t_EU_12Hr. Clk Fix) ah!!! I can enter manually the keys!!!

have u click set default key after loading the bin ?.

Well Calin I did what did you say and nothing, and checked the keys but I can change the N2 because just have N1, and if I do 3 times in the volume key no change to N2. It's unbeliable, always was working until the last keys was changed.

And Nevwar yes I did a click on set default key

Before you do your scan, did you go into channel edit and "delete all" the channels for both sats as well as the radio stations??

still did not mention the mfg date. is it Month YEAR ?. if u can find the 282t bin ; load & see if u have tv. have seen the march 2005 with 282t bin working.
