Hi everyone
I currently own a fortec lifetime and am considering buying another unit and was looking for the latest advice?
I want a machine for both bev and charlie so it will need to autoroll. I also want to go with a unit that gets lots of support. which seems to be falling with the ultra (callin can only answer so many Q's himself).
Thanks always
now i'm off to try to change keys in the ultra
WISH ME LUCK!

Hewjass, did you considered buying a VS200 Platinum or Extreme!!! (Extreme is a little bit behind in support... but)

Calin:
I looked into the VS2000 and its looks like a great machine. The exteme sounds great and not a bad price ($200 cdn). But like you said the support may be a issue. Do you believe the support will increase soon and/or will you be getting one anytime soon?
Thanks for your thought as always and keep them coming.

The VS2000 is basically the same as the Extreme.

I have one Ultra & two Ariza 700's. If you are budget minded like myself, go with the Ariza- No Problems!!!! You can buy one for $129.00 US. Autoroll, etc. works great. Good Luck!!!

Go with COOLSAT 5000 all the way!!! It has the nicest guide I have seen(better than VS2000). And the support is as good or better than any other unit out there. Very easy to use and update, not to mention INCREDIBLY fast auto & blind scans.

the Xtreme has component which makes it look near HD quality, and the optical out is great for 5.1 PPV specials. Xtreme is a nice unit

1/ Is the 3 days on all or some channels, 3 days is more than most are getting. I'm hearing between 2-12 hours.
2/ Are the 9 channels movig pics. or static shots.
3/ Is this on B** and/or D***.
Thanks; Jessica :)

Coolsat 5000 would be my pick - although only have experience with 1 digiwave 7000 and a CS 4000.
CS 5000 has great EPG - almost as good as a DN receiver, nearly instant guide for 2-4 hours, with a favorites list it can get up to 4 days on the guide within minutes. Channels sorted in DN / BV order so no custom channel list required. Maybe a few dollars more than other FTA stb's, but well worth it.
Great support so far! Lots of knowledgable users that are very helpful in forums.

the 3 days is on all channels and for the 9 channels, 1 is moving and the others are frozen, but you can scroll around on the channels and when you select 1 the moving pic changes to the one you selected, and the other 8 are frozen and I am on B-ell

I'll second that for the CS 5000; got my today, and up and running in 15 minutes, very nice guide/listings - like having a dishnet box
I had to twiddle with the settings to get all channels with my legacy quad , but I'm all set
btw, what CS forums do you recommend ?
