Hi,
I have:
· Panset 2500A-N2 Receiver
· 33” Dish
· LaVa .3db Universal Single LNB
· Optional-(Digiwave DiSEqC 2.0 4x1 Switch)
· A chip sat finder SF-95
I would like to get IA5 or T5 – 97W.
On my Menu, on my receiver, I am not very sure if I set right:
I have option to set:
LNB type: Universal1(LNB Local-Freq 9750/10600) or Universal2 (LNB Local-Freq 9750/10750); I set Universal2
TP I have 20 presets. I put [9]11752V7.232; but I change the skew at 19, and I leave Positioner Setting Disable
I can not get signal (yet)
Can I get any help, please? Any advise is welcome considering the temperatures outside (I am in Ottawa)

At local Freq make sure it say's 10750 not 11250 and put is at standerd. If not try your universal LNB type. But your ocal freq should be 10750.

Thank you,
Until now I tried with Universal2 (10750 for local), I pass G11, then T6, then I get lost my sat finder is at Max. signal, (lower setting), level of signal more then 90%, quality 0. When I get T-6, I put Universal2, and did work only on TP[6]. Anyway I pass them thou W and now I don’t know what signal I get (it is at max.). I will try after few hours; maybe you have an idea who might make my live easier.

Finally I get T 5 but I am not very happy with the quality of the signal. I don’t know what I can do to get better quality. Maybe somebody has a better idea.
I did set my receiver:
LNB Type: Universal 1
LNB Local Freq.: 9750/10600
22 KHz: --
Skew: 20
My dish is a 33” Digiwave with a LaVa 0.3 db LNB
At some TP I have good quality (Level: 70%, Quality: 56-60%) but some, off course where I have interest are bad (11867V22000 is L: 75% Q: 25-31% or 12053V22000 is L: 70% Q: 25-30%)
My interest is to get TV Romania and GlobeCast TV 501-506.

33" dish is big enough , you nedd to rotate your dish from left to right or move your dish up or down a litle bit ( by milimeter because T5 so hard to caught) to get good signal and also need to rotate your LNB to right degree
My dish is just 30" but i get 92% on level and 84% on quality.
LNB type: Universal1(LNB Local-Freq 9750/10600 was setup on receiver

I didn’t pay to much attention at the initial (perfect vertical) position of my 33’ dish if I don’t have a motor, otherwise I did everything possible and only a professional guy might do better. I might try again, but I am afraid of loosing even what I have, but up to you how important is to have the dish right vertical at the beginning?

for signal increase try rotating your lnb off of vertical, the body of mine is set at about between 4:30 and 5 o'clock when facing the dish.
also you may want to try moving the lnb in the holder in and out (closer or further away) from the dish to hit the focal point directly.

I did that, at me is like 1:30-2 but is not afecting too much.
Anyways, thank you and I will try again.
