If it keeps blowing fuses it has shorted something out and is most likley beyond casual repair, 301.10 are cheap now save it for parts and get a new one

You didn't say what the drink was? Sugar would leave a sticky coating, perhaps conductive.
I have a 301.013 that had smoke damage (given to me, was in a house fire).
I took it apart, washed it with hot water , dried completely for couple days, and have been using it ever since.
Being it is dead anyhow, I suggest a good spraying with hot water, dry it good (hairdryer), let it set a couple days so all moisture gets out, and try it.
Done this many times with keyboards that got the coffee treatment and other electronic items. Just make sure it drys completely.
I think your spill happened with power on, so it may have blown something, in which case a new 301 is the cheapest way out.
