I too have been out of touch since before the N2. I have a 2700, 2800, and a 501 and the blue cards (rom 3 and 10).
I'll appreciate some help getting these going again, if it's possible.

hello fellow sat viewers, I just had a few things that I was wondering if someone could help me out with, I have read some trying to see what I can find out, I use to program dtv and charlie for a little while but I had a lot of help from a friend when I needed it, I have not messed with any of it since last year when everything went down for good, this same friend has now built me a new computer with the dvb card and I am using My theatre and I am very pleased with it but I was setting at home the other day when my neighbor came over and ask me if I would help him set his dish up, he had a 2700 receiver and a 288-09 which the best that I can remember was a rom 10 card. he said that the person that use to do his system had something up and going again with the same old blue card that he used before, I told him that I thought that someone was blowing smoke up his butt and I told him that we needed to try and hook the receiver up to my dish before we even wasted our time, of course when we did to my surprise everything was wide open, it did not bring in all of the channels because I am using the dishpro lnb and it was just bringing in 119 so I started reading some and I keep seeing something about a rom 102 to rom 10 so how is the old rom 10's working again, what do I need to do to get my old system up and running again, I would like to get it going so I can put it in my bedroom, I still have all of my old equipment , I also have purchased 2 rom 101's that I thought that I was going to need, I have had them setting in a drawer hoping to get some use out of them, are they good for anything? I have 4-5 rom 10's and a bunch of rom 3's as well, are the rom 3's any good, I asked the guy that built my new system if he knew anything about the old cards working and he said that he had not heard of anything but he just like me has been working a lot lately and not had much time to read up on it . I would greatly appreciate any help at all. Thanks in advance for your help. I hope that I am asking this in the right forum. I have not been a member long so sorry for all of the stupid questions

Some very smart guys got the ROM 10 to emulate the ROM 102.And,they also got ROM 101 and 102 running. ROM3's are useless.Atmega128 is up too. In order to use ROM 101,102 you need a modeed loader(glitcher) and an ISO programmer, some time and some luck.

Thanks Pyotr! are any of the above staying up long and how often are they having to change the keys or do they have any of them where they will autoroll? I will probably try to get a rom 10 going if I can because I do not have a lot of time to try and mod a loader, what type of loaders are they modifying?, is it the oldHu loaders and is their much to modify on which ever one that it is? thanks again for all of your help! it is greatly appreciated, I have very little time for this hobby anymore due to work and kids but I really would like to get into it again in the little spare time that I do have.
