Hey guys...have been out of the game since Nagra killed my bev 2700.
Looking through all the old threads but wondering what most people are running AVR-X? or Syndrome or ??....
Can someone point me to the basics on how to convert my bev reciever to dish or can it still be used with bev?
Also looking to buy 2 whatevers? Is shipping into Canada a problem?
Can you buy/donate money for some sort of support plan to keep this site running and the tv's working?

Buy AVR-X it works on the 2700 as either dish and bev (erase SA 5 of flash 1 to switch 2700/2800)

Your atmega is not useless, but will require modification of IRD. Read the atmega section.

If you have a 2700, a jtag, and ATMEGA and programmer you have everything you need to get started. Do not buy any new stuff until you have explored your current options and decide that you want something new. Work with what you have first.
