I have been out of touch with d... receivers and cards since N2 but still have 301, 2700 blue cards and atmegas. Can I get any of these to working now with the materials I have? I don't have any yellow cards or any numbered 102 etc.
Anyone willing to direct me to a usable direction? Thanks
If your blue card is a rom 10 you have options
....and the IRD's are still usable.

I've got rom 10s and the receivers were working when I put them on the shelf. I have read posts/iinfo about changing box keys, eeproms, changing rom 10s to 102??????etc. but It sounds difficult.
If everybody sets their receivers to the same #s and the cards the same #s then what happens when the sub #s are desubbed?
I don't quite understand all I have read.

Hope this helps.
For your recievers, find out what the build is and try to download already moded tsop bins. You can even ignore the last two letters, just find the first two same as yours. Back up your bins, flash your recievers with the downloaded tsop flashes. That will do for your reciever.
For your card. (c/p)
1. Clean your rom 10 card
2. READ card
3. In PATCH tab open patch (102toRom10-0001-8) ==> test it, Then RUN it.
4. NOw Open patch (3mTierPatch-0001-8) ==> test it, Then RUN it.
5. WRITE TO card and watch N2 Tv.
Cleaning Card - To unlock/ Clean Your card.
1. Open NagraEdit
2. Click on Communication Tab.
3. Open supplied unlockN2Rom10Emu.d2c (Anarky)
4. Test then Send D2C Then CLEAN card and you're back to A16 rom10
this is for version 102-10-8.v3, but they all same steps.
Try this. If you get a hang of it, there are a different files with different tiers. Also a file where you can update the keys without sending the card back to A16 rom10 from Rom102.

What are modded tsops? How do you know if you find a good one?
What are modded tsops? How do you know if you find a good one?Find the modded TSOP for your receiver and don't change a thing. Just write to your receiver. For the atmega and rom10 you have to do an RSA mod to the receiver. Most just D/L one and write to there receiver
Also there is a difference between the modded atmega and the modded rom10. So you have to pick what you want to do

Modded tsops are tsops from recievers that have been modded to work with rom102 to 10 hack. Go to Public Downloads on very top of this page and go to Echostar TSOP bank, find your reciever and find the closest Built. Example my reciever is 301.10 EAED so if you see a 301.010 EABA that one will work, as long as the reciever type is correct and first two numbers are correct.
Hope you have your reciever Jtaged. to find out that information. Backup your current tsop configuration, flash your reciever with the downloaded modded tsop files. and then do the stuff to your cards.

thanks for the info. I have the 3 files called for the card except in the forum that "steps I documented from others on loading a rom 10" #54273 , 6 speed mentions Opening patch >key update.ep10 and patching it to the card.
I have been unable to find key update.ep10.
Also in the "rom102torom10how to" it mentions 1. program with modded tsop and then it mentions 2. program with new eeprom.
If there is only 1 file to the modded tsop when do we get the eeprom?
Thanks

Are you trying to do atmega or Rom10 ?
If you are looking for a file to patch to your Rom10 card without reverting the rom card back to rom 10 and then changing keys, reprogramming and then changing it back to 102. there is a file called key change d2c.d2c . You edit that file change the keys in there and patch that file to your Rom10 card and thats it.
