OK, I have been testing with the 6000, dish 500, and AVR-X happily for a couple of weeks now. Things are going great.

Then I decide I would like to get the Voom channels. I acquire a dish 1000, install it on my roof (in the cold) do a check switch and only see the 119 and 110.

Do more research, I decide I need a DishPro adapter. I acquire a DishPro adapter, install it per the instructions, and still only see the 119 and 110. The installation screen is telling me I have a 500 Twin.

I've done enough check switches to kill a cat, with all the different options checked.

I've done everything short of getting on the roof and making sure the 129 lnb sees something, would rather not get up on the roof again this time of year, but I will do it if I have to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you go into the Installation setup can you scroll to the sat option and change it to 129 and get a signal?

Switching to 129 just shows me 'Wrong Sat - 119 Echostar West'. Which makes sense, it doesn't know the LNB is out there, so it can't switch to it.

Well, it might not be lined up right then.

Dang! I thought someone might say that! Probably on the next mild day, I will hook up my meter to the 129 lnb and try to get signal.

Just strange that I am getting 119 and 110 so well, I figured that the 129 would just be lined up.

Could you tell me how you got your 6000 to work with Atmega?

Not using an atmega. Using an AVR-X.
