Going Mad over "Mod"

Hello, Recent addition of a new TV requires the reactivation of my 2700 for N2 Dishnet. The build conf is CAPA and the software version is still at 834P-CAPD-N. Atmega will be used and I installed an AR105B lock last summer. I don't understand the first part of the TSOP Mod ; the use of Flashedit Beta 4 to change the IRD & Boxkey #'s. Could anyone direct me to a link or tutorial ? I was unable to find an already modded TSOP file for CAPA in the dump section. Thanks in advance for any tips . All the best, Glenn

Thanks JT, I know how to use the Jtag.I suppose what I'm asking is, doe's Flashedit provide me with a new IRD # & Boxkey numbers when I load my Bldg config ? Or am I supposed to find an already modded TSOP from a dump file and use it ? Also, do I need to remove my AR105B lock completely for this to work. Could you please elaborate. Head injury from an MVA makes these things a little more difficult for me but with a little help I do manage eventually. Thanks again.

If you get an already modded tsop image, it should already have the box keys and receiver ID on it. Flahedit has a self explanatory editing feature if you ever want to change the info yourself. You shouldn't have to remove your lock, just turn it off.
