View Full Version : home built ISO programer
Hope this is ok to post here. Not sure if it is the right place but, here it is. I am in the process building a iso programer and I am stuck. I am building "EZ-PRGMR.ZIP". from a site I saw. I have it all done except the crystal hookup. I am using only a dish crystal. The schematic calls for a dual crystal for dtv and dish. I just want the dish crystal. I am not sure how to wire it up. Help please from a electronic tester!

I saw a schematic with 2 crystals in the ISO P'gramer, just can't remember where I saw it, give me the URL and I will give you information on using one cystal rather than 2

Ok, I found the schematic for the EZ-PRGMR.zip, there are 2 cystals mentioned, since you only want Dish, you will need the X106 Crystal. Its a 4 pin job much like a IC chip, you only have one choice DTV or Dish, there is no switch, you built it the way you want it. Here is a web site with lots more info on the crystal, the oscilator and crystal are built into the 4 pin case.

You should use 3.68Mhz crystal for dish
