View Full Version : what happened to autoroll by the weekend
why would they promise that and then concentrate on something else ?? did sales boost enough for the weekend that they could withdraw the offer ,i know that theres alot of 2700 recievers that it affects but theres problems all over the board with the avr-x , i went out and bought a dish 510 reciever cause it was supported by the avr-x on there web site but it dont work worth a shit so if there goin to fix things they promised then fix my 510 that i spent a great deal of money on just to sit and hope they ever address this issue and while im bitching .whats with midgets lol just kidding , are we goin to get autoroll or are they just goin to keep promising it

Dont worry, if they say a definite date it is because it is comming out indeed. No software has ever been released on time. For example the 1.03 was for Nov. 30, 2005 it was not released until Dec. 02, 2005. The 1.04 with AUTOROLL and 301.010 support for Dec. 10, it came out 2005 Dec. 09, 2005 but only 6000 receivers support was added, the 1.05 with AUTOROLL and 301.010 support was for Dec. 15, 2005 it came out Dec. 19, 2005, and finally 1.06 (the mandatory release) with the new bin for new tiers came Jan 3, 2006; one day later than needed. I personally thought they would never add 301.010 support because it was promised even before the very first release of 1.01 november 10th, and was not released until 40 days later. So my guess is, if they begin giving definite dates, it is because THEY ARE GOING TO RELEASE THE SOFTWARE.

its called deceit. Whether they do is NOT relevant , what is, the date
they confirmed 3 times! I'am tired of being misled, deceived, and outright lied too!
Enough is enough either release it or give a plausible reason why you cannot.
It only takes a minute to release a statement, which would go a long way. Such as we are sorry but it is taking longer than expected we will
keep you up to date.

that would be much better. Anyway You cant force magician to do anything, less if you havent ever seen him. It is like you are buying hardware that really works, and its worth US$99 but the software that gets this hardware working as the tool it was intended for, never was mentioned in the contract. Consider that software support comes included in the 109 price. but as you guys remember it only said 99 for the card, 10 for the programmer and 25 for the shipping, they never mention software support. Besides, I wonder what would happen to us if magician would die tomorrow, i mean he is mortal, isnt he?, lol. Forget security and show others how this card can be programmed, even more forget you ego, and realize that out there there will always be smarter people than you, that would have had this sofware ready, long ago, with all security features needed.
