questions about r10 a24 unlocking

ok, im not a newb when it comes to building my own hardware, i have built many kpyro unloopers for dave, a couple of tucker iso programmers for charlie, eeprom programmer from my own design and a tsop programmer. i am now trying to mod my kpyro unlooper with no luck on popping a24. B00gieman has been very helpful to me trying to get this thing going. but i still cant, has anyone had any luck with the home built kpyro loader or are there any from start to finish guides anyone can give me for the software. as far as i can tell and from what i have read i am doing it corect, but ive been wrong before. so please anyone out there who might be able to help, please do. and thank you if you do.

#40 was having a hard time with one of these. He finally popped it with the Firebird A24 unlocker. It's in the files section. Don't know a damn thing about the kpyro loader, so your propably on your own there.

what scripts have you tried...and what type of responses are you getting?

I used powersync ver 5A, with VCC analyzer to get my high and low vcc settings, 9 volt solid powersupply, and newd13 flash...

I had 3 stubborn cards that I finally unlocked using that..

also, used a wide range for delays... 0c0a to 05ff

it may take longer, but it gives you a bigger chance of finding the sweet spot.

i have used A24-StreamORchecksumlocked fast , PowersyncUnlockRom10ver5a mainly, many others, to many to post. but about the vcc analyzer, can i get some more info on this? and how i should do this. as for newd 13 i cant find it in the downloads. and for the firebird unlocker, i will be trying it as soon as i can download it. which brings up another subject. im afraid to send money to become a paid member since it is ileagle in the usa. i know several sites were hit in the us and the paid members info were traded in for lenency, its not the price (very low i.m.o.) but what if this site was hit, or would id be due to its location. if i were a paid member i could go ahead and dl the firebird unlocker now, and not wait for the dl limit to drop.

You use newd8 or newd9 or their powersync versions flashed on the atmel for rom10. (powersync has it's own versions of flashes)

One of the best way to support this site is to become a VIP. That search feature that comes with VIP is the bomb. There are so many files in there it can be a bitch to find what your looking for, especially not 100% of the files are in the right section. Just pay with a money order if your concerned about keeping privacy. Your not going to find a safer vendor to do business with than Mili. Mili lives offshore. He never even steps foot in North America, and the site is hosted in Hong Kong.

so off shore means that he isnt afected by the us laws and regs? meaning he isnt in some U.S. controled island that they cant come in and sieze records. not being a jerk or anything and i know im getting off toppic but i am seriously considering it, but ive had several people i know get the dreded letter from daves lawyers (none from dish yet) sewing them for hacking tv. all because they signed up at kicken chicken or some where else they told me, and i just want to be a little cautious. but if its out of U.S. controll then i think im in.

Correct. Mili lives in the Bahama's. His site is hosted in Hong Kong. He's not subject to the laws of either US or Canada.

I have had some success with my home made modified Kpyro Tucker unlooper. So far I have popped two rom102's. I haven't been able to pop any 101's yet. The funny thing is that I did it without using a pot! I also noticed that I got a better mix of + and -'s when touching the dip switch. I guess it somehow affects the clock signal, not sure. I was also able to unlock a rom10 a23.

tester69 can you post your mod for the loader. im not sure that i have mine modded corectly. also, what dip setting are you using.

I set all four jumpers off. I did the mod about a year ago when I started with rom10's. I still have the instructions, which I noticed are the same as the plans I found on this site. Look under a thread called "Loader Mods" in the Nagra Glitching and Unlocking" section. The post title is "Mod Information for any Loader & Unlooper" It is a generic modification plan that can be used for a variety of unloopers.
