Alright here are my two questions.

1. How can I tell if my 301 is a 301.10 or a 301.13? as well as whats the best way to find out what firmware its on.

2. Im having some transponder issues with my 2700, im pretty sure its my SW21. I have two receivers in the house one is the 301 which I haven't used since everything got switched over to N2, and the 2700 is on a sub. The 2700 has problems receiving international channels on some transponders (sat 61.5) and when moved to where my 301 usually is, it has troubles in receiving channels on certain transponders on sat 119. Now my guess is the switches are screwed up, but im not 100% sure. If you need anymore information, let me know and I can provide it so that I can solve this issue.

To tell if it's a 10 or 13 look at the sticker on the back of the IRd

try with switches and see, as alsouthster said look at the sticker to see if .10 .13

you willhave to look for the tsops and count them to see if the .13 is a single or dual tsop. plug it into a tv without sat wire and waiit for the info screens

Well its BEV 3100 converted... it says Model 3100 Reg ID: 010.

Not too sure, but Im guessing its a .10?

Figured out the switch problem... it doesn't turn out to be my switch thats the problem. I went on the roof to check it out (damn snow...) turns out some of the coaxial is busted up there (I never did the install...) and it looks like I have to replace most of it... I did a temp fix for right now.
