I was wondering if there is any way that I can "fool" the receiver to order a PPV movie or event since I am in Canada, I have a sub. Im not too sure if theres some program I can use (plug the receiver into my laptop, or something) and use that program?

Thanks

PPV purchases are stored on your access card however I suggest not playing with a subbed unit. Get another unit and look into the newbie section for the how to open it up.

It all depends on what receiver you have,If you have a legacy receiver you can install a dial tone device into the phone jack.legacy receievers only check to see if there is a dial tone, then when your card is full you will have to erase the ppv's.right now that may not be as simple as it used to be,But it can be done
