I updated my receiver in error and now I do not get any sat at all, guide works only, swapped cards out and no different. How do I reset my receiver or correct this problem. I do have a lock and found out that is was in the unlock position.

NEWBIE very fustrated, please help...

One option is to restore the backup of the TSOP you made using your JTAG.

If you get the guide and the info channels with all of the other channels blacked out, you very llikely modified your IRD properly.

Use this pfg and see if it works for you. If not, jtag your IRD and flash it with the TSOPs you saved.
