dish 500 compatability

I am currently using a legacy direct tv dish with my 2700. Can I hook up the dish500 legacy dual lnb to this dish and be able to hit 110 and 119 birds? Or do I need to buy the whole dish500 dish to do this?
I also have a couple of legacy dtv dishes. Can I hook these up with the switch 21 to hit both birds?

If I understand what you are saying you have a single lnb dish. There are a couple of sites that will allow you to buy just the yoke, the attachment that will allow you to put on the second lnb. If you have a second dish it is quicker and better from the signal point of view to just use the second dish for the other bird. And all you will need is the sw21.
