glitching?

I have a scorpion unlooper modded to unlock. I can glitch a rom 102 easy. So I know it works. I am trying a rom 101 flash newd11 script rom 101 unlocker. The only way I can get a go responce (1212ff12ffff) is to leave all dip switches off. My question is with all switches off is it really glitching or do you atleast have to have one switch on?

Pretty sure I read a post where the guy glitched succesfully with no dips. But, do you remember what dips you use to use?
