Hi,
I've just received the 8PSK module and I put it in my BEV 6000 receiver.
The info screen doesn't show any info about the installed module, it just shows 600C as model (not 6000/8PSK as expected)
How can I tell the module is OK and I don't have to return it?

Do I have to convert it to Dish first?

Thanx

Bev doesn't use the 8psk module to receive HD. Convert it to Dish's firmware and it will showup. If you are running Bev send it back you don't need it.

I don't have a switch yet to convert it but somebody told me that I could use a combination of SW21X and SW21 to connect the 3 LNBs to the 6000 (in order to get the new firmware).
have any of you guys have this combination? Does it works for the 6000 unit?
