okay i have a oval dtv dish with a dp plus lnb so i run dp301.010 and 013 on it. i notice the elevation on it, and it has tilt on it, is the tilt considered the azimuth from what i gathered azimuth is east to west. i downloaded two programs for this but on the dish the numbers don't go past 140 on the tilt, just a little clarificaton would help. thanks :D

Elevation is up/down
Azimuth is right to left
Skew is the twist.
Make sure to level your pole (Mast) first before putting the dish assembly on it or the numbers mean nothing.
Hope this helps clarify it for you.
Last, Manually in the setup menu in the signal meter screen make sure to set it to a transponder above number 10, some lower transponders are spotbeams and you may not have signal on those wherever you are, If you end up on a dead one you would be aiming forever and never lock in a signal.
