I have just recieved ROM 102 and wanted to know if I can use me Atmega cable to program it? I used to used it before N2 but on atmega card.

Also: I have 2 3100-010's One is up and running with bev card. I also have an old one which I used when things were good before Nagra2 and it has not been updated. I would like to know how to do this please. As want to use ROM 102 etc for the old receiver. Have dl'd files and things I need but it says "must have updated firmware"
Can I take card from working one and put in old one and try and let it update?

Rom 102 needs to be glitched to unlock first with a modded loader, Unless you bought one already opened like Mili's for example.
You will need a ISO loader to load the rom 102 then which is a different device that the unlocker altogether, not merely a cable to do all this stuff. If the card is virgin unmarried you can use it to update your receiver firmware, Otherwise you will likely need to reflash the ird tsop mem. Your need to anyway to mod the tsop to get it going so if you don't have one get a jtag device as well.

All good newbie questions, With some time reading and patience you'll get it going
