Background
Used to test DTV in the F-H and HU card days also tested Bev with Avr board. Have programmer and J-tags.
Where I am at:
Swithched 2700 IRD from Bev to Charlie
Have
1 Rom 2 Rev 052 card opened
2 Rom 10 Rev A81 cards not opened
2 DssRev cards with atmega 128 chips
WinEx 4
Nagaraedit 4.1

What else do I need besides your help?
Are the DssRev cards any good?
What do I have to do to program the Rom 2 card
Know how to unlock the Rom 10 cards what do I have to do to program them?
The Rom 2 is not form the 2700 IRD that I have swithced over to Dish. Can I edit the Eeproom of the card at the E940-E95A to change the box keys and at the E940-E943 address to change the IRD info.
I promise never to make love to your wife or molest your children if you can answer my questions.

The rom2's and rev cards are no good these days. The rom10 can be unlocked and used with a modded tsop. That fix is called the Penga rom10to102 fix. You will need to get winex5 and a modified HU loader for unlocking the rom10. An ISO for programming the rom10. And a jtag for writing the modded firmware to your receiver. You will also have to do a great deal of reading on how to employ Penga's fix. Most of the info can be found in the rom programming forum. #40 has also sticky posted a great all in one patch for this fix.

yes all you have to do is hook your programmer up,has to be atmega programmer put your dssrev in,pull up jeepers then clean like you would a atmega and write,when you are cleaning and writing your dssrev take a paper and hold on pin #1 #5 on the little chip beside your atmel chip and that is it.watch tv i no this works because i have 10 playing right now.
