I bought a card which was supposedly a rom10 but can't get into it, keep getting the error unsupported card type. the card is white with "ntl:"in purple and green letters. help would be appreciated.

I have one of these cards....NTL: in purple and green letters. It IS a rom 10 card....keep working at it...should open....mine is open....works good....good luck!!

Need more info to help you though....like what does Nagraedit recognize it as......what rev?.....has it been programmed before? Can u get hold of original owner and see if it is passworded? What have you tried?

Have you used an unlocker/unlooper on it? If so which one?

An IOS reader/writer is insufficient to unlock that card, you'll require an unlocker.

What are you using to try to get into it?

No....I've had mine for a long time....I think it was open when I got it.....I just use a normal iso programmer to read/write it....but I would think it would glitch/read/write like any other rom10 using the proper program and an iso programmer......and modded loader if required (depending on rev it is at....)

Can you unlock it from the tool menu??

tobyguy if it says rom 102 rev 103 u need nagra beta 7 to read card

remember nagra 4.1 does not support N2 plastic as stated by proggy

also if card is definitely rom 10 also try sending unlock D2C to card using nagra 4.1 then 1 step clean also try unlocking card if needed using AABBCCDD as password

thanks for all the help everyone, d2c and then 1 step clean did finally unlock the card, it is a rom 10 after all. thanks again, darn near there finally.
