hi, i am using a rom 102 Rev 103 using N2Edit 1.0 Beta 7

When i try to write to the card i get the following output

ATR :
CAM Type : ROM 102 Rev 103
Setting IFS
Provider : Dish Network
Installing Temporary Backdoor Patch.
Temporary Backdoor Patch could not be installed!
Failed to write card. (Retries : 25)

Anyone know why am getting this message. This is after i Reset the ATR.
i also can't read the card i get " Failer to read card (retries 10)

Any help would be great.

did you glitch the card to install the intercept. you cannot read or write without first glitching the card with a modded loader and putting the intercept on.

It was an unlocked card i got, not sure how to really check to see if it really is unlocked. But resets the ATR Sucessful. Provider Dishnet Network.

Is it possible its Unlocked but no intercept file is placed on the card to allow me to write and read the card. or is the intercept file used when unlocking the card.

If i try unlocking the Rom 102 and it was already unlocked could this damage the card.

Thanks

So it is possible to unlock the rom 102 card without the intercept file. and if so i need a modded loader to put the file on. back to the search. lol

Thanks

no an unlocked card will have to have the intercept installed on the card inorder to work. yes you will need a modded loader to glitch the intercept onto the card.

putting the intercept onto the card is considered unlocking. the card itself is not open as it was in n1. we basically force feed our own backdoor onto the card. hence why it has to be glitched onto the card.
