hi there , i have a laptop computer with out a serial port , a bought a USB to Serial adaptor and i have some problem with nagra 2 cards ,
It works with nagra edit 4.1 and rom 10 blue card , and it works to program my FTA , but the problem is with nagra edit beta 7 ,
If i try to read a rom 101 or rom 102 on nagra edit 7 it gives ATR error , but if i put the blue rom10 on nagra edit beta 7 it say rom10 reva16 card not support, for shure the beta 7 will not read the rom10 but at least it show the ATR and identify the card ,
If i use the same iso programer and 101 or 102 card on my desktop it works great.

Any body know if its port setting problem or how to fix it.
Thanks

Im in the same boat as you. Have the same problem using nagramaster too. Definately the usb-serial adapter (prolific).

Hey Guys This Is What You Need To Do.
In The Folder Where You Have The N2edit, You Also Have A File For The Settings, Change The (com 1) To (com 4).
Will Work, I Did That And It Worked For Me But I'm Using The Targus Port Replicator.
