I might not be the one too answer this but here it goes.

First off I think you mean using your own box keys and #. ( Keys are just the numbers dish uses and everybody has the same in order to get picture.) Yes you can use your own numbers but it is a longer process and takes some time to learn.

DT08 SK, is the program you need, it is a little confusing to learn, but not that bad.

If you have your own exsub card (DT08 type) that you have opened, then you can modify that bin with all the tiers you want, and write to any opened 102 using your own sub numbers. On additional receivers, you will have to modify the TSOPs (IRD# and BKs) to match the bin. Each card has a keyset - cam, IRD#, BKS, DT08, and P &Q. You can not change any one of these and have the card work - change one, change all. Again, this is for DT08 type receivers, not SK type.

All legacy receivers and 301-010/3100 are DT08. Any receiver with a locked sector, most dishpros, uses SKs.

If you have a legacy receiver, 2800, 3900,4900, 301-010, that is presently subbed or was subbed in the past with a rom102, and you have that 102, you have your own sub, exsub DT08 type card along with the correct receiver. If you don`t have all this, then you will have to use the public bin and modify the TSOP with the public bins IRD# and BKs. Good luck!

I just got a 510 up by reading the ex-sub card, patching the numbers to Gopherx's 42 tier 3M, then patching my locals with DT-Tiers.....no receiver mod, not even jtagged, works fine.

Seems like you are not prepard for this mod....the fixes released have the receiver number and boxkeys set. unless you want to use DT08 to make new numbers for you, so knowing where it is, is of no value.

I have a 301.10 running on rom10X
I want to convert to yellow card rom 102.
I was able to glitch the card and write a bin to it for
the hack. Now I would like to use my own Box Keys and IRD# and also put my own password on the yellow card. I have the DT08 and know how to mod the original 301.10 TSOP's and get a patch for the plastic. I thought that this was just for the rom10x???? How do I do about finding the password on the rom102 bin? and do I just patch the rom102card with the patch generated by dt08?

Just to note that the card skinerd was using was the one that was married to the receiver. That card already had the boxkeys, IRD information on it. You just have to look for it. If you do have an exsub and the receiver that it was married to, all you have to do is glitch the card, read it, save it and check out the OA data area. If it's not mostly 'zeros' then it's good. I have opened a few cards for peeps and some of them were ex subs. I took those bins that had good 0A data and just used the IRD and BKs from those cards and changed my receiver to match them. Created my own 3m, put on a blocker and now I have my own private, personal information that I can clone and use for mulitple receivers if need be.

Both my 301.013 are exsub . they are married to the receievers,I can't wait to get started on them.

What I did was:
Unlock, read and save ex-sub card image.
Load ex sub image in DT08-SK and save keys
Open Goperx's 42 tier 3m in DT08-SK
Loaded save keys into Gopherx's bin
Loaded that bin into NE2B7
Added patch for locals generated by DT-tiers
Added V22 SK blocker
wrote all that to card.

I don't have time to go into each step in detail, but a little reading and you'll figure it, not hard at all.

The version 2.3 is on nagra 2 files under ROM10X Utilities.
That's the one I used before and it has a html file that shows you step by step how to get things done.

Look for the 08 type "Provider Type"

Caddy, I was thinking of doing the same thing, I bought 3 102s that had been subbed and had 0A, only problem is that the irds they were married to were 301s and I have 2800s and 3900s. Is it possible to still use them?

if you are using a rom 102, get a clean 3m open it with nagraedit and do a lot of codespace clean, open a program dt tier works 15.8 and after wiping tiers from bin and wiping ppv and tiers, generating ppv and selecting tiers, clicking on retrieve keys, and writing your information patch to bin, then load a clean and unmodded tsop bin that matches your receiver into gen dt08 sk 2.3 and load the rom 102 image, check everything is ok, here you will need to enter the information remaining you want to use (you should have entered something on dt tier works), after that click on calc sk, apply sk, save keys, save patch and save your tstop image, and write this one to your ird (you might want to check everything is ok in flashedit), then open rom explorer alpha 01, check everything is ok. now get the v22 sk blocker somewhere, open it with notepad look up to where is says 8260: (something like aabbccddaabbccdd) and change this to whatever you want but something you will remember, save it, open n2edit beta 7, load your cam image, write patch. now open nagramaster 1.6 check to see everything is what you wanted, check if you see numbers in eeprom p, and q, and apply the patch you created on gendt08-sk2.3, write to card. you may experiment error 005, do a check switch and put it on channel 500 or 101 one of those you see charlie people for at least 10 minutes, change channels something should come up.

have you had much luck with the V22-sk? my keys would not roll. i used V22 keys rolled after start up.

Since I used SK on all my IRD's I use the V22SK blocker, which didn't work. I've been told to use the V22Sk blocker for Non SK type mod, and use the V22 for SK type mod. I tried the V22 and worked fine. Also I didn't apply the blocker till I was sure I had video with just tiers and Gendt08 patch applied.

If I read it correctly in your first post , you have the (DT08) 0A data type? If so, just get the IRD# and BKs from the card, change your receivers TSOPs to match the cards IRD and BKs, and watch TV. The DT08 type cards work like the old blue cards as long as you are dealing with legacy receivers or the 301-010. You can clone all you want. If you don`t have the 0A type, nevermind.

When I tryt and open DT Tier Works I get Run Time Error 53.....how do I correct?

I am running XP Pro and after I d/l the file and try to open it says "Run-time error 53 File not found" this happens on both Tierworks versions 11.5 & 15.8

Uninstall all versions then try installing 15.8.
