I'm having problems getting signal on my 39' DISH. I'm using a standard LNB I'm having no trouble getting signal on my 18" dish. I would think it would be easier getting signal on those bigger dishes. I have a friend in Manitoba that has the same problem. Do I need a certain LNB to make them work and does the frequence settings change for those dishes. I've never had a problem getting signal on the smaller 18'" dishes but I've never set one of these bigger 39" dishes up before, can someone help me please .

Are you keeping the same setup, settings etc. in your receiver??? Remember to try whitout the switch.

theres no switch involved and the settings are the same as getting signal for an 18" dish. I put an LNB off an 18" dish on a 39" dish and I got signal right away. But when I put the LNB that comes with the 39" dish on I get nothing. They are a smaller looking LNB. should thge frequency be different then 11250 to get bell or dishnet

So, you say that if you use the LNB from the 18" dish you get signal; if you change that one for the one that comes with the 39 dish, you get nothing... Are you trying to get 110 & 119? Or just changing the LNB to get a better gain in signal? Yes, your settings for Beverly are the same, just the ID provider IS different. I guess your LNB is the wrong one!!!
