Hhelp! no parental control or edit channels

I restored my factory settings (delete settings) and now i cant access parental control button or edit channels. I loaded pansat factory flash and Clone_267a.bin do I need to load a channel list? Can someone tell me how to do that? Also when I go to antenna setup it locks up.

please help, i cant input keys.

if your reciever locks up with 267a then you probably have a compatability problem.
what type of reciever do you have?
what model tuner is in it?(search the fourms for"tuner"to identify it)
and yes there must be channels in the reciever to access the parental controls menu,and what would you try to edit in channel edit if you have no channels?
either you have to scan your sats or load a channel list for those functions to work.
with answers to the first 2 questions I asked more help will come.

Here is a picture of the reciever its an ACE 2500, so i think its a pansat 2500a clone (the menu is the same), the reciept says FTA 2500a N2. Do you have a bin for this reciever? Also do you have a channel list for this reciever, to work with gtools?

with the info you have provided I would reccomend using bins like 256cv3,257h,282t,100t or 101t on that reciever.(don't have 1 so can't say for sure it will work the risk is all yours).
once you have a bin loaded set up the instalation settings and scan the sats for channels yourself,channels move so often lately that the best channel list is a fresh scan.
use the search button at the top of the page to find the bins,its good practice to find your way around the site and read up on the problems/soloutions for each bin then decide which 1 you want to try.

Can you tell me how to put in keys? I only have 16 spaces. Whats key number? and witch key do i use, I noticed their are always two.

did you use a bin that supports that option?
here is the steps for 256cv3,others are similar:
On your remote click the menu button.
Scroll down to parental control and click ok.
Then scroll down to second pin and enter 0000.
Then scroll down to Nagravision and click ok.
Then where provider ID is use the right vol.button to scroll right to Dishnet Work.
Then scroll down to Key Number.
Then Scroll right 2 times and you will then be in Nagravision2 mode and key 00.nagravision 2 should be visable in the upper left of the screen.
Scroll down one line.
Enter the key 00 there.
Then scroll back up to Key Number.
Then scroll right one more time to key 01.
Scroll down one line.
Enter the key 01 there.
Then click ok to save.
Now click the exit button 4 times and you should have TV.

note when using keymaster you will get the keys in 16 pairs. for this procedure you need to split the active keys in 1/2:
first 8 pairs = key 00
second 8 pairs = key 01
you must input the current active key.
if not stated it is: n0101 01
might need to try both if 2 are listed.

when i get to key number and scroll right 2 times nagravision2 doesent show up.
also will i ever need a new bin?

click menu and highlite the bottom option-report back what it says there please.

ok thanks a million, now i know how to put in my nag2 keys, also is my bin good for ever? or at least a long time?

no way to say how long it will work
you need to use a newer bin like 257h to manually update keys
