When i put card in programmer to read i get card type is unsupported.........what happened?

When i put card in programmer to read i get card type is unsupported.........what happened?
what card are u using, what programmer, did u use the card before?
need info.
the only time i ever got a reading like that is when i read my bell card, which was a sw01, rev 640 in nagra 4.1.

You need Nagra2Edit Beta V7 if you are trying to read a Nagra 2 card like a 101 or 102.

Thanks to all replies.........this is why i'm in newbie section.......had put a dish programed card in programmer when i needed the Bell programmed card, now i have them labeled.............
