hopefully someon can help me out with these senarios.

I have a dish 500 with 2 dual legacy lnbs pointed at 82 and 91, using 2 sw21 with 2 coaxs coming into a main junction box in my condo. From the junction box One connects to a coax to upstairs tv, one coax connects to the downstairs tv.

1. i want to install a 9220 (HDTV pvr bell) in my downstairs room, can i use my one coax that is at that tv and just split it into the two (satellite inputs) on the receiver?

2. If i got a subscribed bev 3100,, and on my roof i send the 82,91,110,119 sattelits down a single coax using 2 dishes to the receiver, will it still function normally or will my receiver not work.

3.Can i use the disque switch to accomplish step 2 or a sw44?

Basically the answers to all tour questions is no.....you can just "split" sat signals, due to the fact the lnb needs control signals from the receiver.

You can use a high isolation A/B switch for this. But you'll only get to watch on one tv at a time. Just do not use a normal cable TV splitter.

I installed a sW64 so that I could get four tvs output, with the two inputs coming from the 65.5 and 110 & 119 respectively. Works for me.
You get too much of a line drop to use a splitter, I tried it no luck.
Hope this helps

Splitters first of all will not pass the 13-18 vdc lnb power.
Dishnet sat signals going into your bev ird's and vice versa will cause some weird problems and scambling. Basically you will need to keep the dish and bev feed cables separated. If you want 3 and all your receivers are dp compatible just drop the sw 21 and go to a dp34 switch, It will drive up to 4 units.

for me it was more the fact that somehow i wanted to be able to watch bev using two receivers, one upstairs and down, or watch dish with two receivers, one upstairs and down, but with only two 2 coax coming into my condo.
