Momentary freezing problem

My new FTA system works fine other than there is momentary freezing when watching PPV channels, and sometimes the audio is not quite in sync with the vidio. Is there anything I can do about this? Would better quality LNB's help?

No and yes... The freezing problem would be mostly a bin problem, and unless you are a codder, probably could you fix that. If the audio is not in sinc with the video, that would be a transmision problem, and that is something you can not do anything about it. What can you do do to minimize those problems? Just double check your dish aiming, double check your wiring (here the use of good cabling -RG-6- is a must) and if money is not a problem, yes getting a better quality LNB definetly will help!!!

Thanks for the consise answer. I'll check these issues (starting with a new bin file if it's available, then on to the cable, etc.)
