AVR-X software expired on some receivers, update is this afternoon

If you can believe the AVR-X man. Those with 106 use 107 as it is fine.
My 510 with 107 is still running so not every version expired last night. I hate to be the mouthpiece for this dude as I am only a reseller like others so in the future I may not relay his emails, let him find a way to communicate with the masses after all he has a damned website.

You guys should try reprogramming with 1.0.7 software regarless of what receiver model your running. I thought my tiers had expired, but after programming with 1.0.7 I'm back up with two 301.13 single chip units. In hindsight I was being a dumbass. (big suprise to some of you I know:eek: :p ) I was actually running 1.0.6 because 1.0.7 was rebooting more frequently. I'll take rebooting over nothing any day.;)

Actually, magician was within 24 hours of keeping his promise this time. New software is out and it's fixing a lot of the 019 errors. Apparantly you decided to post before doing any reading.

He only introduced a new version because the teirs expired and still didn't even get that right. All Bev are down still. What happened to the promise about autoroll for Bev. Why introduce autoroll for Dish when key only change once every couple weeks, Bev is changing daily. I can live with manually changing key, but if I am going to get f***ked, please kiss me first.

I refer to the "another broken promise" Because 2 weeks ago on the AVR-X website it says "Autoroll for the remaining models and ExpressVu will be released in about a week. " 2 Weeks have passed and nothing. Not to mention. I bought 3 of these things when they first came out instead of FTA's because they advertised 1. Autoroll and 2. Support for 301.10. We waited months before either of these came out. If magician would not have advertised autoroll and 301.10, I would have tested other methods. Autoroll for bell was supposed to be enabled on version 1.05 or 1.06 I can't remember. It was in the readme and on AVR-X website. This was a lie. I've wasted a lot of time (updating keys) and money based on the PROMISE that these support 301.10 and Autoroll. Well, the 301.10 is now supported (After many broken PROMISES) and 1.08 was supposed to have " Autoroll for the remaining models and ExpressVu". Another broken PROMISE. So, on the contrary, I have done lot's and lot's of reading and testing. Like I said before "F%ck this damn card. I'm buying a FTA from Mili's store".

I know it has been a hard couple of days but to tell people that they need to change from their preferred provider that they are testing to another provider just because magician is unable to get their cards working right. I can't believe I am seeing this.

These people were promised that they would be able to watch what they want either dish or bev and they paid the money to do so. Now you are saying that they need to change. If you just think about what you have said, this goes way beyond the boundries of everthing that is acceptable for a person in your position to even think about saying.

People have the right to expect at least some compassion for the trouble they are having, which is not caused by them but by people they trusted to do what they promised.

I know I probably will be banned for saying what I did, but I can't stand by and not say anything just because I am afraid of repercussions.

I hear what your saying tierone and I agree with you. It's just that at the present time, the AVR-X isn't working worth a hoot for Bev. So, for now, the options are switch to Charlie or go without all together if your running the AVR-X. It's a crappy situation for sure. A guy can either make the best of it by going with what we know is working or he can go without. I'm the type of guy that prefers to make the best of a situation by going with options we know are working rather than throw in the towel and give up.

JT, I respect your posts and value your help but I would not have bought the AVR-X if it wasn't initially advertised for 301.10 and Autoroll support.
How would you feel if you went to Home Depot and saw a hammer drill advertised for a good price. You bought it and brought it home. After you opened it you saw that it didn't have the hammer drill option. When you called up Home Depot and complained it's not what was advertised and what you paid for, the employee says "quit complaining, why don't you use it as a drywall screw gun". That is what you basicly told me to do. quit complaining and switch to charlie. I bought the AVR for what it was advertised for and didn't get it. Truth is, I am a subscriber to B3V and have other receivers hooked up to B3V. I just want what was advertised and PROMISED.

Not to be a bragging or nothing.
I have one avr-x runs flawless, now it didn't at first beacuse it would autoreboot, then it would freeze, or I had to reprogram it once.
I am using Dish, I have the syndrome for B3V, it freezes a lot more than the AVR-x,
How I was able to get minr from auto reboot, I re algned my cable so there is no sag on the card, and it has ran for 24 hours no reboot and once it froze for like 1sec and kept on going.

hopes this gives people hope.
PS I lost one of the two syndrome, error 019 and flakey, chucked it.

It is not a secret that Dish is the bigger market and the avrx man's first priority is to get dish people up. He is working on autoroll for all recievers and BEV by the way. I am on his case and he understands the need to get all models on both platforms run smooth. Please give him some more time as you can see he finally got his ass in gear.
