301.10 only ODD Polarization

Hi all ...
one of my 301.10 only get's the odd transponder channels ...
check switch doesn't work - makes it sometines even worse,
and get "X" for polarization... with good connection but no signal. :rolleyes:

the other receiver is working fine on the other output of the switch.

Old firmware older than ver 2.43.
Corrupt eeprom
Sat out lnb voltage not switching from 13 to 18 correctly.

Update firmware
Virginize eeprom
Meter sat output dc voltage while in signal screen, Manually change transponders and watch for dc voltage changing from 13 to 18vdc. If this is bad check voltage on tr31 pins, They should all be within a volt of each other. If not this transistor is just in the circuit to cause problems ( Allows the cpu to turn off lnb voltage). The 3 pins can be shorted together to restore normal operation.

I'd try the eeprom first, Seen it cause that about half a dozen times already.
