New Dish 510 IRD...can it be used as a BEV IRD?

I was wondering the same thing has anyone converted a 510 to use with BEV.

Yes. The Dish 510 is the same as a Bell 5900 and there is lots of info out there on switching it over. Basically, hook up a JTAG, erase the appropriate sectors, and let it download the Bell firmware. When it comes back up it will be a 5900.

I am also trying to do the conversion just wonderingif you can point me in the right direction to find the info we need.
