Hi again,

another 301.10 receiver which has the prob,
that the check switch is "OK", it finds the LNB
with a good connection, but NO SIGNAL ...
and polarization indicates "X" (no go  )
the tr31 switches 14/18Volts, so do they get to the
LNB... where does the signal get lost  ?

Well looking at it another time, I read now
some 30 / 50 Volts output to the LNB ... as well
as on the te31. That looks like a reason to me - and pretty much
like a hardware issue.

Easy question - Any simple fix - yeah right ...

Could that be a N2 Modded Tsop Issue
or is it hardware related ?

Another 301.10 receiver works just fine connected
to the same cable.

thanks

No 30 to 50 volts, Your lnb switch combo would cook. 13 to 19 vdc.

Virginize the eeprom, Most likely your issue if you already checked the lnb voltage was 13-19 at the sat in connector. Go into the signal strengh screen and set it to transponder 1 and meter the dc voltage, then change it to transponder 2. It should give you 13-14.5 one way and 18 to 19.5 the other.

Let me know where you saw 30 to 50 if it was on this site, I would like to delete that false info so others are not misinformed.

Hi BirdieMod, thanks for the reply ...

sorry for the confusion,
I read the 30/50VDC from my meter,
which is in working condition ;)

I'll try to virginize again ...
but did that twice.
