Need some advice. I got a 102 rev105 card that is married to a single tsop 301-13 that was subbed at one time. Wondering if this card can be unlocked and reprogammed to this Ird without having to do a Vid-Mod or does it still have to be Vid-Modded. Can someone also tell me what they would do with a setup like this. Thanks

I bellieve it can be unlocked and used without modding the firmware of the receiver since it was a ex sub, I do not know if you can add a 3m tier to it without affecting the info on it though, but you could "reactivate it" to get what programming it had, I'm sure it can be done, just not sure how.

not an expert, and i'm not sure about the rev, but i read that if u unlock the card, u can go in and put in new expirey dates on the tiers to reactivate them. no other mods necessary. i don't know the stpes or how to's. just posting that i read it in these forums. do a search?

You can add a 3M, I used Gopherx's 42 tier 3M, remapped my locals and added a blocker to get a 510 up the way you describe. No jtagging......

Glitch, read and save card image.
Open saved card image in GenDT08, save keys.
Open Gopherx 42 tier 3M in GenDT08, apply saved keys, save patch.
Open Gopherx 42 tiers in N2edit, beta7, apply saved patch, then save image.
Open DT tiers, remap locals and patch to image saved in last step.
Open bin from last step in N2B7, apply V22sk blocker.
Write card.

Or do as HILLBILLY said above, that works too, my way is easier, and you will have a full open 3m running, with your numbers, without modding the receiver at all.

I have some AA-106 and AA-107 that are Rom 102??????

I suggest you stick card in ISO loader and do a reset on it, that will say for sure what it is.

Will do tha,t but frist can you tell me if the old HU programer I have that is an xtrem Pro that has a cannister in side of it that says 3.68 be usable for the job.:)

Not sure, an ISO loader was used for the H card, it works with DN cards with the 3.68 crystal, H cards used a 3.57 crystal.
A HU loader was different, it can be modder to unlock DN cads.
