CEMU101.5 and the 105 bird

I'm gonna set up another single dish to point at the 105 bird for locals. Anything different i need to do when setting up CEMU101.5? Gonna use this setup in the bedroom and will also add the 119. So i will have the 119 and 105 birds. Do i run cemu just like normal?

yes you run cemu the same, but you'll need to have the necessary tiers for 105 either in your dish.bin or in your tiers.txt file, whichever you use.

also, note that the 105 bird uses a different type of LNB than do 119 and 110.

105 & 121 use KU Band LNB's , they can be had for about $15 to $25 ( single or Dual Output respectivley) IF your just gonna run 105 to 1 IRD than a Single output Ku LNB will be fine, but if you think you might want 105 on a second receiver Spring for the Dual out put one, there all over hte plce including ebay , Make sure you get one thats made like Regular LNB so you can put it on the Dish with out any brackets ( there a Couple different Style KU LNB's , Just get the ones that Looks Like a Legacy Dual ( or single they both look the same except for outputs) LNB , but Make sure its KU LNB , Just to let yuo know DIsh is planning on Moving the Ch @ 105 & 121 to 129,110,61.5, 148 ( Mainly 110 , 119 & 129) cause they want to phase out the 105 & 121 sats that they lease , although this is probably gonna take awhile , it is In progress ( ch being Moved )

but a sw21 switch will work with this KU LNB?

i found a ku lnb that looks exactly as the normal lnb's. so putting that on a dave/charlie 18" dish work ok?
