2700 won't stream update

My 2700 has a bad eeprom, it won't take a write I have tried several virgin eeproms still won't take a write just get the message in jkeys saying error writing eeprom and it sits there . My question is will this bad eeprom cause the ird not to take an update. I erased sa5 five times and put in the stream for 3 hours ,still stays at 834-F . When I flash back to the saved tsop, everything works ok. I'm trying to do the N2 atmega No Ras Mod

Yeo I have one like that too......It will never update in stream EVER. :-) I have to write the tsop myself.

Thanks for the reply dishrag it looks like the bad eeprom blocks the update. Is your software flagged -F . I'll try to find an unmodded tsop at 853 for build CSFD so I can get a clean set of dish ras keys that will let me go ahead with the SAtVia N2 Atmega No Ras Mod
