build ca2d 2700??????

cant seem to write to this reciever. lock is off and i could read and save but not write back too it. Keep getting errors in j keys(flash codes not reconized) build is a rare one i think ca2d maybe a litle old. any ideas????/

Never heard of that build, Sure it isn't casd? That was used.
With lock off it needs the r259 circuit completed to reflash. That resistor is removed when installing a lock and needs a 33 ohm resistor in that spot to reflash. Depending on the lock it may not be connecting that 33 ohm at r259 when turned off.

I did not install the lock myself. But thier isnt any resistors soldered to any of the connections that ican see. Do you think using another version of J Keys(older) would work?

Jkeys should not matter, You most likely need the 33 ohm res at r259 then try reflashing it again, After take the resistor back out if you want to use the lock again. Could wire it up with a dpdt switch so it adds the res when unlocked for you for future times.

Thanks will try adding resistor. any word on the build? can you ask around 4 me. Can i change the build . this is going to be d***.
