102 not authorized.. want to fix but...

i have a few things that I need help with.. the following is an overview of what is been done:

I have a rom 102 running on b3v. I did not program this myself as I needed the 501 receiver to be 'fixed' as well, so i gave the 102 and the receiver to a friend who let someone get it up and running for me.. anyways long story short.. i used to test in the nag 1 days... and want to start again. I have an iso and have downloaded all the files necessary from the files downloads section.. my question is this:

with this 102 and the 'not authorized' i have read that there is a patch. So, where can I find this patch? and am I able to program this card myself now or will there be some 'lock' on the card that i have to find first?? I have tried to read the card with Nag2 beta 7 and get the following:

ATR: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 FF 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 31 30 32 20 52 65 76 32 34 30 60
CAM Type: ROM102 Rev240

Provider: Unknown

what should my next step be??

the card is a b3v blue card and not a dish yellow...

Sounds like your card is locked, found out the password to unlock the card,try aabbccddaabbccdd, if that password doesn't work you will have ask your buddy what password he used.
Also dl nagra master ver 1.6 this program works great for the rom 102..or n2edit ver 7 works too...Then search for the latest update on the bev rom 102 files and load it and change the password at location 8260..16 bytes..

thanks cooltech.. but now you know what.. it says ATR:ERROR in n2edit v.7
and with nagramaster... it says it isn't a valid 102 atr??

first make sure you are using the right com port, when using both program first do reset atr then try read card and if it says card locked on nagramaster then put your password in and try to read eeprom,

on n2edit, i have to put the password in a few times and then try to unlock and then read card, just play with it and have patience

i got it.......

Did the update to the V22 patch.
Unlocked card, read card , cleaned code space, opened virgin bin, write to card.
Opend 3m, opened and applied patch, write to card.

Left it all night, still all red exept the 198 ch


Any Ideas

i'm no expert as you can see.. but now all the memories of the nag1 cards is coming back to me....
red is 'tiers expired' or 'not subbed to' far as i can remember...
