Working with 102

Ok this is what i have.I have a 301.10 reciever and a 102 thats open,i want to use the 102 cause i dont have anymore rom 10 cards,can someone tell me what tsop i should use and what program i should use for 102 Should i do a rom 10 to a 102...any help thanks

the simple way would be to flash the IRD with a modded tsop for 102
they should be one in the file section.. 301.10 try to get something with the same build along with eeprom

then program the 102 with one of the public fixes for 102..

thats it..

their is some other ways to go but that one requires the lease work

what i would do is flash the receiver back to OEM then use your OEM dump from the 102 with v22
or step by step

1'st thing's first....open your bin it DT-tier works...

1. Wipe STD tiers from bin
2 Wipe PPv Tiers from bin

Now lets check our work......

Open up GetTierINfo

Open you bin and click on Tier info ***MAKE SURE ITS BLANK**

If so Lets move on........

Back to DT Tier WORKS

Select your tiers....Cut out the usless shit..This is what i used and it works...

Pick your local tier

AT60 (You must have all 3)
AT120 (You must have all 3)
AT180 (You must have all 3)
East Networks
Showtime
HBO
Cinemax
Movie Channel
Starz/Encore
Super Stations
Music CDs
Games

***DO NOT PATCH TO BIN FILE YET*****

Now lets create out ppv string IN tier works click on Creat PPV Tiers

This is what i used and it works......

Low = 55617
High = 101249

Click on Generate PPV string....

Now Lets Patch this to Our Bin IN DT TierWorks Click "Patch BinFile"

Now lets check our work......

Open up GetTierINfo

Open you bin and click on Tier info ***MAKE SURE You see the same tiers you selected in dt-tier works**

If so Lets move on........

Now lets check our dates.....Open up ROM Explorer Alpha

Load your bin file you have been working on.

Click on data space tab.....

Look for the 06 type "Box Keys"
in the right window you see header and below that you see date...CLick on The HEX value for the date...You now see a green aarow...Click on it
Up pops a calander...select your date (Sugestion 12/31/06)

Look for the 08 type "Provider Type"
in the right window you see header and below that you see date...CLick on The HEX value for the date...You now see a green aarow...Click on it
Up pops a calander...select your date (use same date as [06 Boxkeys])....

Now Using Rom explorer or N2edit (Your choice) We wil add our Blocker and Auto Roll Via the Patch function of the respective program.

If You change the password Don't Forget to write it down... =]


NOW SAVE THE BIN FILE YOU JUST EDITED AND WRITE IT TO THE CARD....

If you are using the public bin on a 102, you may have the wrong TSOP. Modify your IRD# and BKs in your own TSOP(unmodded) with flashedit to match the public card bin. Probably Ird# 01 1C 74 6C (1864 2028) and BKs 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63. Should work.

I don't know why u guys are using the public files. When its much more simple to use your own info, No doubt a little tough starting out. But once you get the files saved you will be like damn I'm good. Let me know if you need help. Steps are posted in my sig for 510 but they are good for any IRD.

Can I use the above steps even if my Rom102 is not married to the receiver? The rom102 is open but not married to ird.

Couple of questions before I start. I'm going to mod a 6000 ird to use on this Rom102 card.
1) Does the 6000 ird uses the SK version DT08
2) When I try to open my 6000 TSOP file in DT08, it does not give me the option to input the second file. I read somewhere that I need to mod the .config file to add the 6000 ird, but I need to know what are the values for the 6000 ird.
