I have a 501 and dont want to change the bixkeys because I dont want to have to remaary hard drive, what is the best way to use this card? Can I marry this card tro may 501. How would I program it? thanks

There is no way to marry a card to a receiver. The card doesn't have any of the nessassary info. Have to have DN do it for you.Your gonna have to use a public fix or find another card and reactivate it. But you are gonna have to mess with the tsop.

I am sure that you are right, I keep thinking that somewhere that I saw a post that you could inseert your card, erase some sectors in your tsop and it would download the new softwae and marry the crd to you recievior, ( only beacuae you have a virgin card, I guess I could try it , except I could get my card strealocked. So if that doesnt work I just program it like any ohter 102?

Your thinking of an ecm repair. After they hit the tsop, you erase a certain secter and restream. Then your RECEIVER will download the lastest firmware and be fixed. Nothing to the card.

ok this is pretty easy with the right proggy
i use ultra edit or hex editor this is what u do
open your editor then open your bn with out 0A
then open iceman 3m or 42 tier 3m or any 3m
now what u do leave that open but minmize it

now open N2EDIT open your bn without 0A go 2 datatyes look 4
open space with like 90 bytes open. 86 bytes is just right then click on that data type
on top right side be oc ?? ?? with a bunch or 0000000000000000000000 S
copy that by highlighting it but only copy 84 bytes thats 6 full lines and 5 bytes


now go back 2 your editor click on your bn THEN right click on it go 2 part
were it say REPLACE box pops up top line of it paste what u copied


now go back 2 your N2EDIT open 3m with 0a in it click on it and copy that info


then go back 2 your editor that pop up box should be open in sec line paste
that 0A from 3m in there now it find on the right side proggy should find
the line were the 0000000000000000000000 are then u hit replace button
thats it

ps 1 thing 2 remember your 0A line 6 full lines and 5 more sets of numbers
so when u copy your empty data line it has 2 be SAME SIZE u copyed
or u will corrupt cam

THEN SAVE IT MAKE SURE U HAVE 3-4 COPYS OF YOUR ORGINAL BN
EVEN PUT ON DISK 2 BE SAFE BACK UP BACK UP STUFF

after u saved in close it open that bn with n2edit see if u got any errors
if not COOL open up DT tier check all tiers u want set expire date card info
dont get keys save then open n2 edit make sure no error some times u get errors
so i had 2 stream card without tiers b4 2 let stream organize cam then i added tiers
your set 2 use gendt8 v2.3

after u add 0A 2 bn make copy of it b4 u add tiers 2 be safe no error
and with dt tier never WIPE STD TIERS you will get error just wipe ppv tiers it wipes all

what card is in your 501? if its subbed it should be a 102 if so just glitch into that save original bin then add tiers and blocker and watch tv very simple no tsop mods because the card is already married to the receiver...
post what cards in the receiver ....
