what models of PVR/DVR are good for EMUing?

501 and 508 work 100%.
Just upgarded one to 120Gig....100+ hrs!

whats involved to get them working for EMU? just a jtag and modify the TSOP like a 2700/2800/3900? the 501 doenst require a vidmod does it?

Some PVR's require the vid mod....check your TSOP chipset.
Same proceedures except the hard drive.
This is very very important so read up on PVR hard drive initializations. [AV forums]
