CNN pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr must believe all American are stupid.
How in the hell can photos be the blame and not the government. How long are we as a nation are going to ignore the truth!

I didn't see the Starr piece, but I'll make a few comments about the situation at Abu Ghraib:

Two things concerning prisoner abuse:
1) It's NEVER justified, under any circumstances
2) It's been going on ever since there have been prisons. In other words, forever.

CNN, the ACLU and the rest of the left wing mainstream media have been trying to lay this problem on either Bush or Cheney ever since the story broke back in 2003. I don't know what else the US military is supposed to do. They canned the General who was responsible for the soldiers guarding the prison, they arrested 8 individuals that were directly involved, meted out long jail sentences to the primary offenders (Lynndie England, etc.) and have totally revamped the way things are run at that particular prison.

Publishing MORE photos of the same abuse, at the same prison, by the same people - accomplishes two things: It gives some sleazy-ass Australian TV network a ratings boost, and it further inflames the Muslim world against the USA in general, and our soldiers in particular, who are right now standing in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Agree with the war or not - those men and women (from ALL countries) that are in that region fighting the insurgents deserve everyone's support - of course, folks like the ACLU WANT them to come to harm so it will make the Bush administration look bad. These new photos are 100 percent political and accomplish absolutely nothing. SHAME on any sonofabitch who would participate in such a thing:mad:

The democrats are so desperate to get back in control they will moan and bitch about anything, If cheney wanted to hide anythng about the accident I dont think we would have heard anything about it. I think it is funny that the white house media is so pissed cause he told a local newspaper first ..lol
