It works fine so far. Everyone running previous software upgrade by the month's end please as the old ones will expire I am told. It now emulates ROM102 cards so no more card swap nag. So far so good.

I am now able to accept US online e-Checks. Before you ask I do not see your check info, I do not store your check info and it is handled by www.paybycheck.com who are 100% confident and secre.

On another DishNet moved 7 Arabic Language Channels Transitioning to 61.5°/148° Orbital Locations 7 Arabic-language channels will begin transitioning to the 61.5° and 148° orbital locations from the 121° orbital location starting February 23, 2006. Therefore, as of February 23, 2006, the antenna for new customers subscribing to these channels is a wing antenna (DISH 500 or 300) and will no longer be a SuperDISH antenna. To give you time to prepare for this change, DishNet will continue to pay eligible incentives on SuperDISH installations for these 7 channels through March 7, 2006.
The 7 Arabic-language channels include:

* Abu Dhabi - Channel 768

* Al Arabiya - Channel 772

* NBN - Channel 770

* NEW TV - Channel 774

* Iqraa - Channel 773

* Noursat - Channel 771

* Melody Arabia - Channel 775

Mili, I'm running avr-x on a 3900 rec. I have the automatic software upgrade turned off so it will ask before taking the software upgrade, are you saying before using the new avr-x 2.0.1 program that I should let my receiver take the new update before applying the new avr-x program.

Thanks

Mili,
I wrote the new software 2.0.1. and it worked for 10min
and The receiver ,3900 did a reboot. Black screen death came ......
I worked with the avr-x a little while rewriting 2.0.1 again and checking
all the obvious still no help!
I went back to the 1.0.9 and I'm back up again.
any other folks having this problem? I'm looking for input.
I was hoping the new software would fix the receivers 1 hour or so reboot using the 1.0.9. software. Just happy its working again! but looks like we have to get this problem fixed before the end of the month.

There is a nag for the 301.010 and the 301.013 saying to upgrade your firmware, but the read me with the AVR-X says it supports the old firmaware for the 301's (P2.44)

Your thoughts? Should I take the firmware and then trust the V2.01 will work?

Why they are doing such a thing?? moving from MPEG2 to MPEG4 to force poeple to spend on a new receivers and now they are trying to force customers with a foreign languages to get extra sat dishes on their roofs, I was expecting by adopting MPEG4 to put the same thing on each satellite That's what the bandwith stand for.

:D I thought we had until mar.9th for these cards to keep working.I am still on ver.107 with mod 2700.If it isnt broke dont fix it.I'll wait until after the Ultimate Fighting Championship on the 4th before I even think about altering anything.That is if I dont get zapped first !
