frustrated with gentd08-sk help!

hey, i have a BEV 301-3100 IRD and no matter whose config i try, or whose lines i add to my config, i still get the terrible error 10: cannot determine model number :(
my model ID is 10U and ive noticed i havent seen that in any of my configs at all...does anyone have this code i can put in my config please :) i think that should solve my prob...i have IRD updated with newest firmware E537, so that should solve my prob i hope if anyone can hook me up with some code ;)
and my last question is, i also have a 2700 BELL IRD, and ive tried 3 tutorials now (i have to use RSA for 2700), followed instructions, and i always get the same thing, either aquiring satellite signal (which just stays like that forever) or your reciever is not authorized error, one or the other each time ive tried to program my rom102 with nagramaster and n2edit7 with same results.....ive programmed my ird with modified tsop, did all the fancy stuff in gentd08-sk, programmed card with bev-cleanedand3m epire set to 4-1-06.bn102 and still get the same thing, and when i hit sys info it says S00 00000000-00 for my smartcard id number, so i assume its not picking it up, but i correctly put the right cam id in gentd08-sk, so im not sure why its doing this....what i am doing is cleaning my codespace a couple times, putting a virgin bev 102 image on my card, then clean codespace, then apply the bev-cleanedand3m epire set to 4-1-06.bn102, then my blocker and then patch from gentd08-sk. is this right???
any help would be so greatly apprecated....this is frustrating hehe all part of testing tho :)

Try it without the blocker. Don't worry, it will not get locked that fast. Just for few seconds till you see that it picked up the Camid or If it picks up the camid then wait till you see some video or till its done aquiring sat signal.

For your 301-3100 either you are using maybe (blank or corrupted) images or You are using dish config's with bev IRD. Which version of GenDT08 are u using? I have not seen this error just trying to guess as to what the problem might be. You can open the images in flashedit and see what it shows before trying it in GenDT08.

Very tricky program, once you do get it to work, save the keys so you can use them for all receivers, the second and third ones get easier, some things to look for, after opening tsop and then card bin, go back to tsop tab and verify the build config and bootstraps and such are correct for your model number. Sometimes I noticed the firmware rev on the card would be transferred over to the tsop after opening the image, this may have been rectified in the current release. Make sure you have the current release from ginman, the new one is much more user friendly. It took me weeks to get my 510 player to work with it's original bK and ird number. Please post your exact problems and maybe I can help
